Zoë plays Charlie Hungerford, the whip-smart mother-in-law of recently widowed detective Jim Bergerac, in this reimagining of the classic 80s drama set in Jersey. Season one is streaming on U; season two arrives on U and U&DRAMA on 16 April.

Zoë has joined the cast of this ITV crime drama as Zelda Radclyffe, the quirky aunt of Cambridge professor Jasper Tempest, who helps the police solve challenging murder cases. Season four aired on PBS in the US in 2025 and comes to the UK in 2026, while filming recently finished on season five.

Bergerac series two
The hugely successful reimagining of Bergerac will return to UK TV screens this spring (exact date TBA), according to broadcaster U’s recent press release. To whet our appetite for series two, a superb - and tense - Bergerac teaser trailer has been released on YouTube.
The six new episodes will bring change, as Zoë’s character, smart and formidable Charlie Hungerford, begins to rebuild her life. But it’s good to see that Charlie’s relationship with detective son-in-law Jim Bergerac is as spiky as ever! ’To still be spreading such chaos would suggest an element of choice,’ she tells him in the teaser video.
In addition, both the first and second series are set to air in the US, thanks to PBS, later this year.
Edited 20 March: It’s just been announced that Bergerac series two will be available to stream on U and watch on the U&DRAMA channel from 16 April. Hooray!

Professor T series four (and five)
Back in the UK, Zoë will soon make her debut in ITV1’s crime drama Professor T when the fourth series is broadcast (again, exact date TBA).
US fans have already been treated to her performance as crime-solving Professor Jasper Tempest’s quirky aunt, Zelda Radclyffe.
Series five has also been filmed.
