A drama by Nick Dear, based on the novel by Agatha Christie, and first broadcast on 11 December 2005 (A&E).

Overview

Veteran detective Hercule Poirot is invited to an evening of bridge - with a twist.  Alongside fellow sleuths Superintendent Battle, Colonel Race, and crimewriter Ariadne Oliver, Poirot must decide which of the other guests at the mysterious Mr Shaitana's party is a murderer.

Notes

Zoë makes her first appearance as Hercule Poirot's friend, Ariadne Oliver, in 'Cards on the Table'.  She returns as the character in 'Mrs McGinty's Dead' (2008), 'Third Girl' (2008), and 'Hallowe'en Party' (2010).
