Overview
This was the premiere production of Pictures in a Bath of Acid, which examines the life of nineteenth-century writer August Strindberg, in particular his psychiatric problems.

August Strindberg was familiar to Zoe when work began on this production, as she had recently performed one of the writer's own plays, Creditors.
During the same season as Pictures in a Bath of Acid was presented at the Leeds Playhouse, Zoe also appeared there in Family Album and Twelfth Night.
